Senior Construction Manager – Data Centres – Munich & Frankfurt

Our client is a €2bn turnover, Tier:1 main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major, complex schemes with a particular emphasis on Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects
 

Due to continued growth in the region of their Data Centre projects division, our client is now seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of the data centre’s construction, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
• Team Leadership Lead and manage construction teams, subcontractors, and on-site personnel, ensuring effective collaboration and high performance.
• Budget & Resource Management Monitor and control the project budget, ensuring efficient use of resources, and addressing any cost or schedule issues that arise.
• Quality & Safety Assurance Ensure all construction work complies with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices to maintain a safe site and high-quality results.
• Stakeholder Communication Serve as the main point of contact for clients, architects, and other stakeholders, providing updates on progress, risks, and project status.

Requirements

Engineering Degree or recognised trade qualification

10+ years’ experience of managing large construction projects as a General Contractor.

Thorough knowledge of Civil, Structural and Architectural packages.

Understanding of mechanical and electrical installations and interfaces.
